Interesting talk.
Hörmann says some interesting things. I honestly doubt the credibility of
this Tellinger guy though.
His terminology is emotionally manipulative ("slavery", "bondage", "infinite
resources of curing all
disease"), and it sounds like he doesn't really know what he's talking about
behind all the bold words.
He creates this phantom image of an ancient evil bloodline of shadowy
individuals everyone should hate -
the exact opposite of what Hörmann says we should believe at the start of the
talk.
What he says about "the bankers" stopping Tesla's "free electricity" lies
firmly within the field of
conspiracy theories
(http://thelibertarianrepublic.com/evil-capitalists-prevent-nikola-tesla-creating-free-energy/).
(Besides, if it actually worked as well as some say it does, "the bankers"
would've already found a way to monetize it)
And then there's this little gem: "The higher your education, the more
brainwashed you become". What?
Did I really hear him say "sacred geometry"? Who is this guy?
Hell, I've been writing this comment while watching the video, and the
further I get, the more I'm convinced
that neither of them knows what they're talking about. "Education ==
indoctrination" fits nicely in between
9/11 being an inside job, and hyper-intelligent pan-dimensional mice secretly
running experiments on humankind.

Tellinger's idea of a "people's bank" is in se a nice concept, but it
presumes that every country/community is
self-sustaining. How will you acquire resources from elsewhere in the world
with currency that is created to work
specifically within your own system and conditions? Where will you get the
resources to "build bridges"?

It all sounds a bit too nice. By the end I was waiting for the part where
they promise flying unicorns for everyone.
Remove capitalism and suddenly people won't be greedy and exploitative any
more? I don't think so. Some of their
ideas go directly against basic human nature. We are not robots. The
unfortunate truth is that humans just aren't
very nice to each other most of the time; capitalism, nor property, nor some
"evil banker bloodline" has anything
to do with that. Greed and the feeling of ownership are innate to us.

That said, the thing I do agree with, is that capitalism is not a perfect
system - far from it actually, it encourages
greed - and that we should not give up on finding different ways of
structuring societies. This "Ubuntu" approach does
not seem like the solution to me though. In my eyes it is incompatible with
the globalized nature of our current world,
and even human nature itself.
