Dear Thomas,

A Sandbox Meeting was created just after the tutorial so that the delegates could play with the system, but the idea was not to open the Council Meeting itself at least after midnight, both to the delegates and to the public. However, it should be accessible to everyone right now. Please let me know if this is not so.

There are at this moment already a number of delegates who are registered onto the system. I don't know what might be the problem in your case. Is it possible that it takes a while to receive the email?

In any case, a while ago I sent to your mail and all the delegates who were not yet registered an explicit invitation to the Council Meeting. Hopefully, you have received it by now. Please let me know if this is not so and we'll try to fix it.

Since you didn't specify any email addresses for the German delegates, I used these ones that I found from other communications with you:

Jens Stomber <jens.stomber AT piratenpartei.de>
Alexander Spies <aspies AT berlin.piratenpartei.de>
Thomas Gaul <thomas.gaul AT piratenpartei.de>
Gregory Engels <gregory.engels AT piratenpartei.de>

Please let me know if you'd like me to send the invitation to different ones.

Regarding the presentation mentioned in the tutorial, I've asked the person who provided it to us to upload it again, hopefully, it will be there very soon. However, I think most of us didn't have access to it during the tutorial, so I think listening to the tutorial recording is useful anyway in order to get an overview of the system, whether you have the presentation in front of you or you don't.

The main idea is that every agenda item can be opened in turn, where proposals on that topic can be made and discussions held. When the discussion is over the chair creates a poll between the relevant proposals from those which are in the list and have been proposed, and then the participants with vote rights can vote on them. In our case, the delegates will state their votes on the comments section, to make sure everything is public and accountable.

By the way, the proposed mechanism is that the transition times between deadlines will be 23.00 h in the evening and 10.00 h in the morning (that means that deadlines do not end at 00.00, but one hour earlier, and that new agenda items might not open before 10 h in the morning). This is to give time to whoever the (human) chair is to open/close/prepare the votings. Hence, the "official" opening time of the Council Meeting would be in reality about 10 am on the 25th. Hopefully, everyone will be able to enter the system and start the discussions by then. Please let me know if this is not so and we'll try to fix it.

Greetings,

          Muriel

Dear board of PPEU!

I made several attempts to sign in with the official Vote-IT via
http://voteit.europeanpirateparty.eu/.

As for now I have not received any response from that very system. So no
sign in had been possible.

I had made several attempts with even different email addresses.

The board should assure that the participation in the Council Meeting is
assured for those being officially part of it.

Additionally, as assured by the statutes the meeting shall be open to
the public. As for the Vote-It tool I have found no way as to really
assure the public can participate.

As the assumed start (25.05.2017 00:00 CEST) is coming close I expect
the board to act very quickly.

And for another thing, on the Vote-IT tool is mentionend a "how to"
This introduction is no longer available.

Please help out a.s.a.p.

All delegates and the public should be able to participate. Please take
care of it.

Thank you for your efforts.

Best regards

Thomas Gaul
