[Int-koordination] Deadlines for the PPEU Council Meeting - was: Save the date: PPEU GA 2019 (2nd to 3rd November)

Thank you for the information Marketa!

As the date of the PPEU-Council meeting is now given just an additional
info about the given deadlines.

These deadlines concern:

A) Changes to the Statutes

> excerpt from Article 25 – Change of Statutes

> (1) Proposals must be presented in writing by any means (electronic,
paper or otherwise) to the Board which will transmit them to the Members
of the Council for deliberation at least four weeks prior to the meeting
at which the Council will deliberate and decide on those proposals.

Which means all proposals should be handed in to the board just a day
prior to the deadline so the board can take them into account when
sending out the call for the meeting.

In practical means proposals should be send in by the

In my personal believe, an entry to

should suffice. Also meaning: entries on this page should be done by
October, 1st 2019 23:59h

B) Nomination of Candidates for the Board

>excerpt from Art. 17 - Election of the Board Members

> (1) Each candidate must be nominated by an Ordinary Member.

> (2) All nominations must specify the particular post for which the
candidate is being proposed (i.e. Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson,
Treasurer or a Board Member without a special function). Each Ordinary
Member may nominate and support several candidates.

> (3) All nominations shall be done at least a month prior to the
meeting at which the election takes place.

If I did not count wrong by the english definition of a month the
deadline for nominations is

>>> October 1st 2019 23:59 h CEST

As common practice has showed, entries to

are highly appreciated. A separate email to the board validating your
entry aka nomination will be very helpful.

Bet I forgot a lot but these are vital issues for the council meeting.

As for the public discussion for changing the statutes and the given
proposals I will send out another email with time and date a.s.a.p.

Time is short, please consider your nomination to the board and check
out the given proposals for statutes amendments.
