yes, that's already on my screen - they have a very promising and
interessting API conception: https://disqus.com/api/docs/requests/

I disussed this with Tim (he is currently inactive, unfortunately) in the
very beginning of our d!sco implementation, but for now, I am afraid we do
not have enough man power to follow up this road right now...

i stumble upon DISQUS more and more often and i see a lot of activity is
there.
It has been created by the people behind "Stack Overflow" and it can be used
on any website, allowing users to communicate with each other using their
existing account/identity.

It doesnt have so many rules to structure the discussion, but some basics,
but it has a lot of traction, so maybe it would be nice to also keep in
mind, that those kind of plattforms should be able to integrate with d!sco
too, at least on a very basic level :-)

...that would immediately give a lot of input to everything that tries to
use d!sco :-)
