Now available: OTRS Help Desk 3.1.9 and OTRS ITSM 3.1.6

New Patch level releases of OTRS Help Desk 3.1.9 and OTRS ITSM 3.1.6 are available for download. In additon to an update of the Italian translation in OTRS ITSM 3.1.6, HTML-Emails will now be displayed in the restricted zone in IE, where more stringent security settings will apply, or in a HTML5 sandbox-iframe when using Chrome, Safari, IE10 and Firefox 16, to prevent the execution of plugins or malicious _javascript_ code on the content. Because of this existing XSS vulnerability in Internet Explorer, we recommend that every client and user of OTRS upgrades to the current versions of OTRS: OTRS Help Desk 3.1.9, 3.0.15, 2.4.13  and OTRS ITSM 3.1.6, 3.0.6, 2.1.5.

SystemMonitoring 2.3.3 released

The OTRS extension SystemMonitoring 2.3.3, which makes it possible to integrate Network- and System Monitoring solutions, including Nagios, OpenNMS, HP Open View, IBM Tivoli or Microsoft Operation Manager in OTRS, is now available for download. After a bugfix, SystemMonitoring 2.3.3 now sends acknowledgement to Nagios/Icinga and allows you to efficiently monitor your services and the underlying IT infrastructure components.

New OTRS Feature Add-On: Ticket Queue Selection

If you use the standard version of OTRS, you might have been using different email addresses to move tickets into the right queues or you might have even been redirecting them manually. Now you can breathe easily, because the OTRS Feature Add-On "Ticket Queue Selection" can route tickets automatically into the right queues by using ticket or customer data. In the SysConfig, you can define which data criteria should be the basis for the automatic queue selection.
