ENHANCEMENTS:
============

* Big improvements to TicketZoom rendering performance.
* Updated Ukrainian translation file, thanks to Бельский Артем!

SUPPORTED ENCODING:
===================

* The default internal character set of OTRS was changed to UTF-8.
  Please see the UPGRADING file if you upgrade from an older version
  of OTRS for any implications this may have for you.
* We recommend to change existing non-UTF-8 installations of OTRS
  to UTF-8 with the upgrade to 3.0.
* All other encodings are now deprecated.
* OTRS 3.1 will only allow UTF-8 as internal charset.


BUGFIXES:
=========

Bug#6064 - Predefined responses did not load.

* Bug#6054 - The default services were not loaded when creating
             a new ticket.

* Bug#5911 - Enhanced menu behavior. The submenus in the agent
             main menu open on click by default. With the new config
             setting "OpenMainMenuOnHover" it can be configured that
             they should also open on mouse hover.

* Bug#5979 - IE8 - selecting a new article in TicketZoom did not load
             the new ticket.

* Bug#6017 - QueueLookup function returned a wrong QueueID when a 
             queue name was updated.

* Bug#6019 - Choosing a search template did not work when executing the
             search.

* Bug#6033 - Too many toolbar icons were displayed by default. Toolbar
             shortcuts were not shown by default.

* Bug#6032 - Customer history context settings were not working.

* Bug#6021 - Ticket types are still displayed if they were invalid.

* Bug#4732 - Mysql table index wasn't used when LOWER() is used in
             queries for customer_user.login. There was now a new flag
             CaseSensitive in the customer DB settings. Setting this to
             1 will improve performance dramatically on large databases.

* Bug#6007 - Free field content were not saved.

For those folks who are using OTRS 2.4 and want to upgrade to OTRS 3.0 
please read the UPGRADING and INSTALL files. We do not recommend to
upgrade to OTRS 3.0.0 beta5 for production.
