Dear all,

 

Given that we launch the common election campaign it would be great if as many as possible could join us in Luxembourg for the celebrations.

We will for sure have a nice programme around the event with cultural, political and leisurely activities.

 

So spread the word, we’ll have:

Workshops with Julia Reda, MEP and probably Patrick Breyer, lead candidate PPDE A visit of Luxembourg City (for those arriving on Friday) A visit of parliament (on Friday) [tbc depends on registered guests] Social event on Friday (read having drinks together) Social event on Saturday (read having dinner & drinks together) Joint Press conference on Saturday A visit on Sunday if enough people show their interest (wine tasting in Schengen, Beer tasting in the city, a castle visit, …) …

 

All those events are open for anyone, not only registered delegates! I would be very happy if we could welcome some Germans, French, Belgian and Dutch from the neighbouring regions for the day and off course everybody else who wants to make the EU elections a success!

 

So please register and spread the word internally in your parties that everybody is welcome in Luxembourg!

Hi Pirates!

As was already discussed on this year's General Assembly of PPEU (and PPI too, actually), for the EP elections campaign kick-off it would be great if we could meet, solemnly sign the CEEP (or, in case some parties won't have it approved by their national council yet, just participate on the event as a proclamation of common will and sign it later online) and maybe workshop for the campaign. What do you think, are you in? Can we make it huuuuge? :)

As the Piratepartei Lëtzebuerg (Pirate Party Luxembourg) saw a huge success their last national elections with two MPs now in the parliament and considering their location, they would be happy to offer their time, space and help to organize it in Luxembourg on 9th February, alongside their Congress where they are going to vote on their national EP program.
That of course doesn't mean other campaign meetings can't happen in other countries - PPCZ for instance wants to make a big Piratecon in Spring and I'm sure others will have similar events we can join. :)

This is of course just a save-the-date announcement - and let's discuss more details on what will be happening on the whole weekend! <3 A registration web will be set up soon by the Luxembourg Pirates, until then you can suggest what to cover during the weekend and other ideas!
