Dear Pirates of Europe!
As they say there is no party like a Pirate Party and by party I mean forming a political program together!
As Antigone wrote to you yesterday, we are hoping to combine forces and create a common program for the European Elections in 2019! It will be free for each country to 1) run for European Elections (those who are eligible of course) 2) to adopt, support and help create the program (we are hoping most European Pirates from all countries will take part as we are shaping our future) and 3) choose if some or all topics of policies are of interest and emphasis to engage in!
We wanted to structure the proposals for working groups in the main Pad and then have subpads for each working group. We would love for you to have your ideas in the pads before our March 25th meeting, as we are looking to really get cracking (get started!) straight way!
What are we asking for is: 1. your input to which working groups we should do - there is a suggestion list already here below, however some may me missing and some may need to be adjusted! 2. Your local policies/ideas/thoughts translated into english and added to the pads of the working groups for inspiration and for discussion! 3. Your input input into the discussion on how and what we would like to emphasise within each working group and your labour in the working group! 4. You as the drive and inspiration for the process we are starting now and finishing with more Pirates in the European Parliament!
We have a couple of code of conduct notes for you in terms of this work:
1. Remember to listen - for intent as well. We are all working together and our intent is to flourish - not to get stuck! 2. Collaboration above everything! 3. Suggestions to changes are welcomed and we know you will highlight the added value of the suggestion first and foremost! 4. Let’s pull together as we have tight deadlines and a lot of tasks, but lets remember that if it not fun its not worth doing - If you act in a state of constant urgency and emergency you live in a constant state of emergency!
Main Pad where most info and suggestions can be found: https://ppeu.piratenpad.de/12

Practical: Where: The internet, more precisely on Mumble, under the PPEU channel - link here: Piratenpartei NRW If you don’t have mumble you can download it here: https://www.mumble.com/mumble-download.php When: March 25th at 20:00 CET/19:00 UTC How long: 2 hours! Why: Because your input matters! We are looking into a future that is 404 - let’s change that state together!
Lets take this first, important step together into the future of Pirate Politics!
With love and respect,
