Betreff: Concerning a council meeting in 2017

coordination group <pp-eu AT lists.pp-international.net>
Dear Board of PPEU,
PPDE's International Team makes a proposal for hosting a Council Meeting
in real life.
We would propose to have a council meeting in either Berlin or Potsdam.
This has the idea that in comparism to other places the flying costs are
at a low for the Berlin airports and accommodation is available for fair
prices:
- Berlin oder Potsdam (Board's choice)
- Pick up - Service Airport
- Socialising in the evening
- no travel reimbursement
- short effectiv meeting on Saturday 12:00h sharp begin - latest end 17:00h
(whoever does not need an accomodation can therefore fly back (or can
take the train) that very evening)
- Sunday work meeting about future work of PPEU, e.g. prepping the
EU-Election if so wanted
- If needed, proxies for parties will be available
- Stable mumble in and out for remote participation
- Video streaming is available
- chairs and minutetakers will be available
As a reserve offer:
Else:
Brussels, PPDE takes over the organisation of the conference (chairs,
minutes)
: Toilets, Internet is working is a must to have
: no tech support from PPDE
We still opt for a meeting in person so we can guarantee for a) signed
minutes b) participant list so that any formality required for getting
registered in a certain country will be fulfilled.
PPDE will also make a proposal in time about changíng the statutes to
cover asynchronous meetings in the future.
Best regards
Thomas
on behalf of the German team
- Delegate to the PPEU-Council
