Es sind ja die Vorbereitungen für eine General Assembly der PPI am laufen.
Dort würde (wird gemunkelt) eine Neufassung der Statuten beschloßen.

Es gibt angeblich bereits eine erste Fassung (so weitere Gerüchte), welche Mitglieder ausschließen würde.
Sollte der Vorschlag von der deutschen Seite kommen, bitte ich um Kontaktaufnahme.

1. To be eligible for ordinary membership, the applicant organisation must:
   1. contain the inflection of "Pirate" in the name of their organisation (unless legally impossible), and
   2. be democratic in structure and function.
2. There may only be one ordinary member per UN member state. For those sovereign states not recognised by the UN or where the status of an applicant is otherwise disputed by no less than 10% of the Steering Committee, eligibility will be determined by two-thirds majority vote of the Steering Committee.
3. All ordinary members are granted one vote in the Steering Committee

Betreff: FOSDEM dinner

Hello,

Several of you might be in Brussels this weekend for the FOSDEM conference. On suggestion of Jens Stomber, I would like to invite all of you for a Pirate dinner. We would meet at 18:00 on Saturday, on Avenue Paul Heger (the main street of the ULB campus) in between the H and AW building to be more precise. Together we will move to a restaurant a few cityblocks away.

Feel free to forward this invite to all Pirates that might attend the conference. If you want to join please let me know so I can make sure there are enough places available in the restaurant.
