Below I attach the information we got from Paul Berettoni, who
was organising this. However, I have no clue whether there is
still couchsurfing availability or the place is fully booked.Greetings,

------------------ Dear fellow Pirates, You have sent me an email requesting for accomodation for the PPEU founding conference at the end of March in Brussels. We have two possibilities to offer and we have to give a confirmation *very* soon. The first possibility is the Vincent Van Gogh youth hostel near the Botanique/Kruitdtuin metro station. We can have up to 20 people there for 21,90⬠a night, breakfast and bed linen included. The second possibility is floorsurfing (you will have to bring an inflatable mattress or sleep on the floor) 10 minutes bus away from the city center. This location is most likely to host some events on the week-end. A small symbolic participation fee may be asked for (to cover the cost of setting up new showers before your arrival), but we can only have up to 60 guests there and *therefore mostly those of you having financial issues will be granted a sleeping accomodation there*. â½Â¹â¾ If you are interested in one of those two hosting possibilities, please let me know as quickly as possible (preferably today), and make sure to either be easily reachable by e-mail or to give me a phone number to contact you. For the youth hostel, you will have to pay in advance (as soon as possible), as a such payment is required to book the room. Please do not hesitate to mail me or call me if you have any question. Thank you and I hope to see you in Brussels in a few weeks! Freely,  Paul Berettoni (cmal) 2014-03-11 14:41 GMT+01:00 Andreas

Hi,
do you have some members who would like to invite couchsurfers to their homes? I don't have a lot of money at the moment and if possible i'd like to save some money. Special requirement for me would be that I'm allergic to cats and dogs. In the worst case i would take myself a room in a hotel or so, but it would be really great if i didn't have to. I'm arriving on thursday and departing on sunday. If there are multiple persons allowing couchsurfers I'd also inform my austrian collegues.
